Never.
Oh, I’m sure they’re out there, and being a CEO is not THE 📏 measure of success, but I continue to believe that reading is a 🔑 key differentiator for leaders at all levels.
Unlike other posts, I don’t have a 📚 stack of books to share, though I read more books in 2022 than any year prior (I’ve been tracking since 2018). Why? Mostly because I read using audiobooks (92% of my books last year were audio).
Following up on my list from last year, here are the books that stood out to me in 2022.
🔥 Lead to Win - Carla Harris (Business / Leadership)
🔥 The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms - NK Jemisin (Fiction)
🔥 Diversity Beyond Lip Service - La'Wana Harris (Leadership / Coaching / Business)
🔥 Light From Uncommon Stars - Ryka Aoki (Fiction)
🔥 I'm Glad My Mom Died - Jannette McCurdy (Memoir)
🔥 Presence - Amy Cuddy (Business)
🔥 The Anthropocene Reviewed - John Green (History / Essays)
🔥 The Wake Up - Michelle MiJung Kim (Business)
🔥 The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue - V. E. Schwab (Fiction)
🔥 I Might Regret This - Abbi Jacobson (Memoir)
